Website Training

website training for staffMore often than not, you’re going to want to update the website regularly using in-house resources. Today’s Content Management Systems (CMS) make website updates and management easier than ever before, but that doesn’t mean that your staff already knows how to use them. In some cases (Drupal in particular), the CMS is complicated, and in others there is so much custom programming in place that the basic tools one would expect to use do not function like they should (this, by the way, is almost always the result of poor programming practices, and not something we do or recommend). In these cases, or in any other where training is needed, we’re here to show you and your staff how to work with your website and handle the majority of issues that may come along in the future. We can show you how to add or remove pages, add posts, manage plugins, fix minor errors, or even use CSS to change the look and feel of your website’s basic style elements. Website training on-site is always the most effective means of educating people, but we can also provide you and your team with training materials (instruction sheets or manuals, video tutorials, etc.), so that you can maintain your staff’s education level in case your team membership changes.
